HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN (HCG)

Description 

• In Women: It is used to induce ovulation and treat infertility, often as a “trigger shot” during IVF or IUI cycles.
• In Men: It stimulates the Leydig cells to produce testosterone. It is frequently used to treat hypogonadism, increase sperm count, or maintain fertility during testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
• In Children: It is used to treat cryptorchidism (undescended testicles) in young boys by encouraging the testes to move into the scrotum.
